About This Game Epic fantasy adventure meets competitive survival in Rend. Inspired by the fabled universe of Nordic myth, the world of Rend is a harsh domain where the strong ascend as gods. Choose to play solo in Classic and Exploration modes to build your stronghold, tame brutal creatures, and conquer enemy players and play among three rival factions in Faction War mode. With the game’s deep talent trees and skill systems, players have the freedom to choose how they want to play and how they want to fight. Players receive metaprogression and rewards through gameplay as they ascend to legendary heights as heroes. 7aa9394dea Title: RendGenre: Action, Adventure, Indie, Massively Multiplayer, RPGDeveloper:Frostkeep StudiosPublisher:Frostkeep StudiosRelease Date: 29 Mar, 2019 Rend Ativador Download [Ativador] Feels like WoW but lacks a run-from-localhost single player without considerable efforts. When the game company decides to go under there will be no way to play this game officially.. game developers keep reintroducing old bugs back into the game. if server is up for more than 2 weeks more bugs kick in. mostly artists that actually just bought graphics packs from other companies and maybe one to 2 programmers that barely have actually programmed. No actual real vision besides money grabs from entire team. Game had potential and then they went the wrong way with everything ignoring all user feedback. They don't have some content shown in preview in game, game crashes a lot when loading and even closing the game.. Rend has/had promise and I wish it would have gotten further along. At the moment it is dead'ish for sure and if you guard your wallet then by all means look elsewhere. But for the price it isn't bad to play around with alongside a few friends. The world is pretty, some of the concepts are interesting, and while there are bugs and balancing issues the world will probably reset soon'ish anyway :-)I play it mostly for the friend factor and to examine the systems for selfish game dev inspiration reasons. If I can justify it as "research" then by gosh that's my story and I'm sticking to it! ;-). Could have been great. Clearly abandoned in its current state. Don't waste your $.. abandonware. How do i get a refund for this, its Conan but worse, and theres like NO ONE on it.. This game was promising to say the least. Unfortunately the developers were not able to follow their promise. They apparently decided to stop developing it with the game absolutely not ready to launch but.... they released it incomplete. Bugged as hell and clearly not finished. Dont spend money on it. The PvE part is a non existing and bugged experience. The PvP is not playable with all the lag you have. The core idea of the game was cool (The faction war) but it is poorly executed. If you are behind as a faction you cant come back. They tried adding another mode on the same faction war map and playing on the same map it cant work.... all the player bases are in the small starting region and you cant survive more than 1 hour. Design errors and clearly lack of love for this game ruined a nice idea.. Jesus, the lag. The lack of contextual tutorials. The dumb building areas. So you start out with nothing. Cool, you start punching a tree. Get branches. Good so far. A little lag, but you're sure it'll even out (it doesn't). You make an axe and keep harvesting. More branches. Wait, what? You wind up with 200 branches before finally googling how to get logs so you can make the next tool. Ohhh, you right click. The tutorial pops up to tell you all kindds of useless information, but never says anything about harvesting methods. Now, let's start building the base. But all the areas around the start are built on. So you're forced to start building outside of the starting area, where you'll be forced to fight creatures stronger than any beginner can handle. But there's no base decay, and members of your faction can't destroy your structures, so your 3 foundations you placed before giving up will still be there weeks from now. Now, the lag (which is probably why you gave up). I mean... it's rough. I was on an Official server before moving to a private one. Equally laggy. You'll be shooting an enemy when they just start walking in place and no damage markers pop up for a good 2 seconds. In that time, the creature has moved closer to you and eaten half your health away. What YOU see is a creature teleporting to you and half your health just vanishing for no discernible reason. 2/10 neat game, but too many issues to make it worth the price. Make it $5 and it's good.. Massive disappointment. I played a ton when Rend was released into EA and thought it had huge potential. However, the game bled players due to a few poor design choices that never really got addressed (zero incentive for a losing team to stick out a full "cycle" which can take weeks to conclude, and zero chance of a team putting in less hours to actually put up a fight with greater skill/coordination). Watching the devs continually miss the mark in their patches was a painful experience because I REALLY want this game to be good and popular, but it is neither. What's even more frustrating is that they never seemed to want to involve the community in development even though we ALL HAD THE SAME COMPLAINTS. They finally gave up after putting in the bare minimum of effort to walk through their development roadmap, though I don't particularly blame them since I'm sure they are seeing zero income from sales at this point.I resisted making a review until now in the hopes FK would get their♥♥♥♥♥♥together, but they never did. Now I just want to vent. The sour taste Rend left in my mouth leaves me questioning whether I'd consider buying their next game. They seem to have passion and the drive to try out some original ideas, but they don't have the flexibility to pivot when their ideas fail (as many inevitably do).
